Claire's gift

This summer, Claire worked on the research vessel, R/V Neil Armstrong. In August, she sailed out of Reykjavik, Iceland into the Irminger Sea, the water between Iceland and Greenland. They actually sailed in Greenland waters to pick up a replacement part for critical equipment. Eventually, they sailed home to Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Their mission was to take measurements of various factors of the sea depths and some atmospheric reading as well.
